I am Masood Khosroshahy (Krohy), Ph.D., the CEO at PatternedScience and a Senior Solutions Architect. I accompany my clients in their complex projects such as operationalization of advanced data analytics and AI prototypes. I enjoy designing system architecture and coding in several languages; Python and SQL being the ones I use most frequently, with occasional use of Scala, Java & C++. Having worked with many corporations in several industries, I have first-hand experience in productionizing projects and prototypes in on-prem & cloud environments (Azure & AWS) and the related performance fine-tuning and subtleties.

EDC (finance): working on data modeling & data solution architecture design for multiple projects/asks (Azure, Databricks, Synapse, InfoSphere)
Pfizer (pharmaceutic): worked on the solution architecture for a major Pfizer project (AWS, Snowflake, Salesforce)
Beneva (insurance): worked on the solution architecture for several ML and advanced analytics use cases, including MLOps aspects as well as ETL/data pipelines (AWS, Snowflake, Anaconda)
Industrial Alliance (insurance): worked on the solution architecture for the company’s flagship ML project (Azure, Snowflake)
Hydro-Québec (energy): designed solution architectures for 3 ML/Big Data projects (Azure, Databricks)
B.Yond (telecom): led few and helped with several other data mining and AI projects for B.Yond (on-prem, Spark)
PatternedScience (AI platform start-up): designed and implemented UniAnalytica, an advanced, infrastructure-agnostic data science platform/cluster which is a niche product with wide support for time series and geospatial use cases. We’ve built advanced solutions for quantitative finance, telecom & big data geoscience
CN (transportation): built an AI-powered product to detect defective railroad components (Azure, TensorFlow)
Intact (insurance): detected driving behavior from the 80-billion-datapoint telematics data as well as worked on the optimization of their Hadoop/Spark platform (Azure, Hadoop, telematics data)
Rogers (telecom): worked on network performance benchmarking using multi-terabyte telecom data (SQL Server)
Concordia (academia/computer security): developed and validated analytical models for botnets during Ph.D. work
